Job summary

Siemens Switzerland seeks a proficient DevOps/CI-CD specialist to design and implement CI/CD strategies across multiple projects, including cloud and AI. You will build pipelines with GitLab, deploy on AWS, and ensure asset health with observability tools.

You’ll join global teams in an agile setting, mentor peers, and help advance modern test automation and security practices while working in a hybrid environment in Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Cloud, edge, and IoT tech including AWS, Python, JavaScript.
• Experience in REST API testing.
• Experience in test automation (GUI, API, E2E).
• Familiar with SAFe and Scrum.
• Strong English; German skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and executing CI/CD strategies for DevOps operations across multiple projects, including legacy software, cloud deployment and AI solutions.
• Designing, implementing, and orchestrating CI pipelines for automated tests, design, setup and maintenance of cloud deployment mechanisms using GitLab pipelines and AWS.
• Provide parallel deployments for developers and staged deployments for development, integration, and production environments.
• Ensure production-grade availability and performance of assets.
• Design, set up and maintain observability tools to support asset operations.
• Observe tools and services that provide inputs on asset health and security status, interpret and derive work-items.
• Contribute to test architecture and test strategy; work with global development and test teams; mentor others.
