Introduction

We're seeking a versatile and forward-thinking DevOps Engineer - Digital Banking (80-100%) to contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of the financial and insurance sector. In this role, you'll operate at the intersection of development, systems operations, and integration-playing a vital role in building scalable digital banking solutions for tomorrow.

You choose where you work best - from offices in Chur, Zurich (The Circle), St. Gallen, Bern, or remotely. Inventive and flexible working time models (full-time or part-time) are available.

Your Responsibilities

• Design architecture and operate applications on container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Develop and evolve new products and services in the area of Digital Banking using Java and/or .NET
• Implement build and deployment pipelines and integrate front-end and mid-tier applications into client core systems
• Actively contribute to technical concepts and system architecture design for scalable infrastructure
• Analyze existing system landscapes and further develop end-to-end system concepts
• Take joint responsibility for system operations, monitoring, and maintenance

Your Profile

• Degree or advanced diploma in Computer Science (university, FH, HF) or equivalent professional experience in DevOps Engineering
• Solid experience with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Quarkus)
• Proven background in software development, ideally in Java or .NET
• Interest and/or experience with data and event streaming platforms like Kafka or Confluent
• Independent and communicative personality with strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset
• Fluent German (spoken and written) is required
