UNION BANCAIRE PRIVÉE, UBP SA in Geneva seeks an experienced Operations professional to book derivatives transactions and monitor daily production. You will support the team, resolve issues, and ensure accurate recording of trades with brokers and clients.

The role requires 2–5 years in an operational team, a bachelor degree, and solid knowledge of listed and OTC derivatives, clearing rules, and margining. French and English at B1 are required.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of experience in an operational team.
• Bachelor degree minimum.
• Derivatives instruments: options, futures, and OTC derivatives (FX options, accumulators/decumulators, CDS, IRS, CCS, swaptions).
• Knowledge of clearing rules.
• Understanding margining rules (initial, variation, spread).
• Awareness of product risks.
• Languages: French and English at least B1 (spoken and written).

Aufgaben

• Booking of derivatives products transactions.
• Control production daily and proactively track issues.
• Support team members in daily activities and solve issues.
• Monitor operations from Brokers.
• Record transactions after matching internal orders for private clients and own account.
• Clear transactions and monitor opened positions.
• Communicate with managers, traders, and counterparties/brokers.
• Exercise and assignment.
• Process OTC market confirmations and payment follow up.
• Monitor margin calls and related payments/receipts.
• Initiate and follow up on corporate actions.
• Ensure procedures to carry out operations as directed by the bank.
• Respect processes and regulatory/volume-related requirements.
