UBP - Union Bancaire Privée in Genf, Switzerland, seeks an Operations professional focused on derivatives. You will handle booking of derivatives transactions, monitor daily production, and proactively address issues while supporting the team.

The role involves broker monitoring, post-trade recording, clearing and position monitoring, interactions with managers, traders and counterparties, and ensuring bank-directed procedures are followed. This position is based on site in Genf.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in an operational team of 2 to 5 years.
• Bachelor degree minimum.
• Derivatives knowledge with emphasis on listed options, futures, OTC derivatives (FX options, accumulators/decumulators, CDS, IRS, CCS, swaptions).
• Knowledge of clearing rules.
• Understanding margining rules (initial margin, variation, spread).
• Knowledge of product risks.
• Languages: French and English at B1 level (spoken and written).

Aufgaben

• Booking of derivatives products transactions.
• Control production on a daily basis; proactively track potential issues.
• Support team members in daily activities and solve issues.
• Monitoring of operations from Brokers.
• Recording of transactions after matching internal orders: private clients and own account.
• Clearing of transactions; control and monitoring of opened positions.
• Contact with managers, traders and counterparty/brokers.
• Exercise and assignment.
• Processing of transactions on the OTC market confirmation and payment follow up.
• Monitoring margin calls and payments linked to them.
• Corporate action initiation and follow up.
• Ensure procedures to carry out operations as directed by the bank.
• Respect processes and their implementation in relation to operational requirements and volumes.
