Zusammenfassung

The Financial Stability Board is seeking a Deputy Secretary General for a five-year fixed-term appointment based in Basel, Switzerland. The role involves directing the Secretariat, managing resources, and representing the FSB in international forums.

You will lead a diverse team, drive policy work, coordinate with central banks and international bodies, and promote public communications. Applicants from all nationalities are welcome, and relocation support is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced graduate degree in economics or finance (or equivalent)
• At least 15 years of experience in central banks, finance ministries, supervisory/regulatory authorities, international financial organisations, or related sectors
• Deep experience in financial stability policy making at national and international level
• Familiarity with financial stability, supervision and regulatory issues
• Experience with international policy dialogue, including chairing international groups
• Strong leadership with experience in managing diverse teams
• Excellent English drafting, editing, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and engage with international stakeholders

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement strategy related to the FSB mandate
• Identify issues, develop policy proposals and build consensus
• Monitor financial stability risks and policy implementation
• Coordinate cooperation among FSB members and with other institutions
• Lead and develop Secretariat staff and manage performance
• Prepare meetings, briefs and background papers; produce meeting summaries
• Oversee public communications and dissemination of information about the FSB
• Represent the FSB in international meetings and forums
