Job summary

Bell Food Group invites applications for a Deputy Manager position at our village butcher’s shop in Switzerland. You will support the Managing Director with daily administrative and operational tasks and act as deputy in their absence, ensuring smooth production and sales.

You bring completed butcher training and, ideally, some management experience, plus a passion for high-quality meat and German language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a butcher (ideally specialising in delicatessen and fine cuts).
• Management experience would be an advantage.
• A passion for high-quality meat products and traditional craftsmanship.
• Strong customer focus and team spirit.
• Enjoyment of working with young people and passing on specialist knowledge.
• Very good command of written and spoken German.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Managing Director with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
• Acting as deputy manager of the butcher’s shop in the managing director’s absence.
• Assisting with production and sales.
• Responsibility for stock management and Quality assurance.
• Customer care and ensuring a first-class service.
