Job Purpose
The Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for forecasting and planning customer demand to ensure that products are available to meet market needs while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer inputs to create accurate demand forecasts, working closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, supply chain, and production.
In addition, the role will provide support to Region manufacturing plants and management to validate customer demand from other Regions, and participate in the resulting manufacturing allocations through the global S&OP process and procedures.
