Qualifikationen

• Mathematics/CS background with strong algorithms and optimisation.
• Knowledge of statistics, data modelling and data visualisation; C++ development experience.
• Storage technologies or data management knowledge is a bonus.
• Familiarity with tape storage systems is not required.

Aufgaben

• Analyse metadata and logs to optimise data placement on storage media.
• Research models and improve CTA scheduling under cost constraints.
• Develop and maintain software in C++ on Linux.
• Participate in operations, troubleshooting and team support.
