Bank Vontobel is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Snowflake using dbt. You will develop Data Vault models and reusable data products to support enterprise reporting and governance.

You will collaborate with analysts and architects to translate requirements into robust data solutions, ensuring data quality and lineage while advancing CI/CD and DataOps in a cloud-first environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as data engineer or analytics engineer.
• SQL expert with complex, efficient data flows.
• Knowledge of data historization, bi-temporal modeling, and related algorithms.
• Strong Data Vault and dimensional modelling understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines on Snowflake using dbt.
• Develop Data Vault models including Hubs, Links, Satellites, and Business Vault.
• Create reusable data products for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Integrate data from diverse source systems into a centralized platform.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and automation across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, and DataOps practices.
