At RONAl GROUP, we are shaping the future of mobility with data-driven innovation. We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team in Härkingen.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust data and integration solutions
• Automate data integration and build pipelines from diverse sources (databases, REST APIs, etc.)
• Transform data through cleansing, standardisation, and aggregation aligned with governance guidelines
• Define and implement best practices to continuously improve our data landscape
• Develop and maintain our data integration strategy (API-first, streaming)
• Ensure high availability and performance of our data warehouse, data lake, and integration interfaces
• Monitor data pipelines to ensure quality, reliability, and timely data provisioning
• Support application and system integration across business areas
• Create concepts for system integration, interfaces, and middleware

YOUR PROFILE

• Higher education in IT, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years’ experience in data integration and engineering
• Strong expertise using Talend or similar creating replication, ingestion and transformation tasks
• Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL, data lake / data warehouse concepts and how to work with these
• Experience with AVRO, PARQUET, XML / JSON, REST APIs, and CDC
• Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (business fluent)
• Additional programming skills (Java, Python, R) and Qlik Sense are a plus
• Willingness to travel (max. 5–10%)
