Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva, Switzerland is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise-grade data anonymization and protection services across production databases.

You will build REST API backends for anonymization workflows, automate deployment with PowerShell and Bash, and contribute secure backend code in Java and/or C#. Collaboration with security and data governance teams is essential to enforce masking standards and ensure compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building and operating REST API backends.
• Proficiency in at least two of: Java, C#; scripting in PowerShell and Bash.
• Hands-on with MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Oracle (T-SQL, indexing, PL/SQL).
• Experience integrating backends with databases securely (secrets management, least privilege).
• Familiarity with data anonymization/masking/tokenization concepts and patterns.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices (Kerberos, OWASP, input validation, TLS).
• Comfortable with CI/CD tools and code quality practices.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and operate data anonymization services across production databases.
• Develop REST API backends for anonymization workflows and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
• Build automation scripts in PowerShell and Bash for deployment, monitoring, and management of DAP services.
• Contribute to backend services in Java and/or C# with clean, testable, and secure code.
• Integrate with MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Oracle including schema discovery and rules application.
• Collaborate with security and data governance teams to enforce masking/tokenization standards.
• Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Troubleshoot incidents and drive continuous improvements in scalability and reliability.
• Document APIs, runbooks, and operational procedures.
