Job summary

Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) in Geneva invites a Data & Process Analyst to join the Compliance Projects & Tools team. You will map processes, analyze data and propose clearer, automated ways to run compliance workflows.

Working with Python and SQL, you will extract and structure data, develop small prototypes, and contribute to end-to-end compliance projects while learning the regulatory context on the job.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at EPFL (or equivalent) in a Bachelor's final year or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline.
• Solid foundation in statistics and data handling; AI projects are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map and document compliance processes, controls and data flows and identify simplification or automation opportunities.
• Extract, clean and structure data from several internal banking systems to answer precise compliance questions.
• Build small scripts and prototypes, mainly in Python and SQL, to automate recurring manual tasks and reports.
• Contribute to Compliance projects end to end: requirements, specifications, test cases and user acceptance testing.
• Turn analytical findings into clear, concise material for non-technical stakeholders and management.
