• Engage in real-world applications of cybersecurity practices with a focus on both automated and scalable offensive and defensive strategies.
• Implement, manage, and monitor security controls across diverse cloud environments and on-premise systems. Engineer secure solutions, harden existing apps and infrastructure, and collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into DevSecOps cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate security workflows using scripting and programming languages, and review code to identify and fix vulnerabilities.
• Participate actively in threat hunting, detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.
• Contribute to security architecture initiatives to strengthen defensive mechanisms and prevent future threats.
• Require a higher education degree in computer science or cybersecurity (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent professional experience.
• Recent experience in defensive and/or offensive cybersecurity operations over several years is essential. Industry-recognized certifications are a plus. Software engineering experience with agile principles is beneficial.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like Azure and GCP, version control systems like GitHub, and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are necessary. Knowledge of .Net and Kubernetes is a plus.
• A passion for learning, staying updated on cybersecurity trends, proactive problem-solving, and critical thinking are essential. Willingness to challenge traditional methods and propose efficient, automated solutions is valued.
