Malvern Panalytical is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to install, service, and repair advanced analytical systems at client sites across Switzerland. You will join the Customer Success team and report to the Customer Support Team Leader, with a focus on delivering high-quality technical support.

The role requires a BSc in a related field, fluency in English, French, and German, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifikationen

  • BSc in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Mechatronics or comparable.
  • Willing to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally.
  • Fluent in English, French and German.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP or Salesforce/ServiceMax experience a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation.

Aufgaben

  • Install, maintain and repair Malvern Panalytical systems on site.
  • Execute established support procedures and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete service orders in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose problems and perform system repairs; train customers as needed.
  • Manage tools and stock; travel within country as required.
  • Be an ambassador of customer support excellence on site.

ROLE: Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d)

What’s the job?

In your new role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of our systems. You will join the Customer Success team, and report directly into the Customer Support Team leader

What are your responsibilities?
  • Execute established Malvern Panalytical Support Group procedures.
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Timely execute assigned service orders
  • Be an ambassador of customer support excellence on site and support with problem diagnosis and system repairs.
  • Support customers with necessary training
  • Manage tools and stock.
  • Travels as needed to fulfil the above responsibilities.
Your Profile
  • BSc Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Mechatronics or comparable
  • Flexible and customer-oriented,
  • Strong problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent social and communication skills,
  • Fluent in English, French and German,
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software,
  • Good knowledge of IBM-compatible computers and their operating systems as well as previous knowledge of a business management system, such as SAP and SalesForce/ ServiceMax, would be an advantage,
  • Willing to travel within the country and occasionally internationally.
  • Valid driving license for cars
