Job summary

CoinFlip Preferred LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support crypto asset accounting and monthly close processes. You will work with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate financial data across CoinFlip's digital asset operations and ATM network.

Responsibilities include reconciling wallets, preparing journal entries, and assisting with audits and reporting. A bachelor's in accounting and crypto knowledge are required, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least one year of related accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain fundamentals (required).
• Understanding of GAAP and general financial accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly rollforwards for BTC, ETH, LTC, and other assets.
• Reconcile wallet balances to blockchain data and subledgers.
• Wallet data cleanup, validation, and exception resolution.
• Process crypto donations, rewards, and incentives.
• Perform FMV calculations and remeasurements for digital assets.
• Support position checks and proof-of-reserves reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile hardware wallet activity.
