Maersk is seeking a Customs Process Administrator to oversee customs operations across Switzerland and France. You will manage end-to-end clearance, prepare declarations, and coordinate documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong collaboration with internal teams and authorities.

The role requires experience in Swiss-French import/export procedures, fluency in German and French, and a proactive, organized approach in a fast-paced logistics environment. English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs clearance operations for Swiss and French import/export.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border procedures and required documents.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade.
• Familiarity with customs and logistics software and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret regulations accurately in operations.
• Customer-focused, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• German and French fluency; English is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end customs clearance activities for cross-border import and export operations between Switzerland and France.
• Prepare and process customs declarations for a diverse customer base, including corporate clients, freight forwarders, transport companies, and private individuals.
• Coordinate customs documentation, transit procedures, export/import filings, and special customs regimes in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support customers and drivers by providing guidance on customs requirements, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor customs-related deadlines and ensure the timely completion and closure of transit and customs files.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update operational systems with relevant customs and shipment information.
• Liaise with customs authorities, tax representatives, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of customs processes.
• Conduct operational controls, resolve administrative issues, and support the investigation and reporting of customs-related discrepancies.
• Manage cash handling activities and ensure proper filing, archiving, and maintenance of customs documentation.
• Contribute to service quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction while supporting team coverage and business continuity.
