Who we are :

At Swissblock, we are a private investment firm dedicated to leading the way in cryptocurrency and cross-asset investing. Recognising that timing is crucial, we utilise a systematic approach that blends robust algorithmic trading with comprehensive cross-asset market analysis.

We are seeking a cross-asset execution trader to join our dynamic team as we continue to expand. In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with and learn from seasoned professionals. You will learn disciplined risk management while optimising trading within the regulatory framework and gaining extensive exposure to various asset classes, ensuring your continuous development and growth.

Main Responsibilities :

• Executing and monitoring a variety of global assets, including futures, FX forwards, interest rate swaps (IRS), credit default swaps (CDS), and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
• Monitoring FX positions and performing FX sweeps.
• Maintaining daily communication with multiple executing brokers and prime brokers to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders including operations, compliance and risk departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Collaboration with the compliance and risk desk by supporting and monitoring daily positions and risk reports.
• Performing post-trade analytics and contributing to improvements in trading signals.
• Providing feedback on market insight and unexpected market moves to the head of the desk.
• Adapting to various shifts, including those in the Asia region.
• Engaging in ad-hoc projects.

Preferred experience :

At least three years of relevant buy-side experience, preferably in a systematic trading environment.

Proficiency in both automated and voice execution flows, particularly with large-volume transactions.

In-depth understanding of various asset classes, including both listed and OTC derivatives; experience with exotic onshore markets is a plus.

Hands-on experience with an order management system, ideally Bloomberg AIM.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Flexibility and a willingness to relocate if needed to Switzerland, ideally in the Zurich or Zug area.
