As a Specialist in mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions, you will play a critical role in managing and processing a variety of corporate actions. You will ensure the accurate and timely execution of these actions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

What would your role be?

  • Handle the end-to-end process of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, including tender and exchange offers, capital increases, dividend choices and reinvestment as well as client notifications in various languages by using templates.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, providing them with timely updates and information regarding corporate actions.
  • Analyze data related to corporate actions, prepare reports, and ensure the accuracy of all related records.
  • Ensure all corporate actions are processed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify and mitigate any risks associated with the process.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as cash managers, settlement, tax and processing teams as well as execution department, to ensure seamless processing of corporate actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and systems related to corporate actions.

What are we looking for?

  • You hold a Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing mandatory and voluntary corporate actions within a financial institution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To be Vontobel: Ability to enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in German and English; knowledge of French or Italian is a plus.
