Control Engineer C++ (Electrical Industry)

GlobalEngineer is an innovative company in several engineering areas that is active in mechanical and plant engineering, development of new systems and their technologies, as well as in testing and type testing. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an interested and motivated Control Engineer C++ with immediate effect.

Your responsibilities

• Development and productization of control, modulation and estimation methods for power conversion systems, including linear and nonlinear control of industrial applications.
• Involved in the whole software development life cycle: Requirements engineering, design, implementation, tests, and maintenance.
• Understand requirements from multiple applications and design a common control solution which satisfies performance needs.
• Software development and testing, ensuring all features function as designed and intended.

Your background

• Master’s/ PhD in Electrical engineering, Mechatronic or Software Engineering or similar domain with more than 3 years of industrial experience.
• Experience in embedded application design and implementation with more than 2 years of hands-on experience in C++ coding.
• Very good knowledge of electric motor control systems (ideally 3 phase electric motors).
• Basic understanding of MATLAB to do control concept derisking and to do system level simulation with Simulink would be desired.
• Strong communication skills to work in a global project team.
