World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO is seeking a Consultant to provide user training, customer support and sequence services development for the WIPO BRIDGE project. The role involves coordinating learning activities, mentoring and training delivery at Geneva-based settings or remote/offsite with periodic onsite meetings.

The objective of this assignment is to provide User Training, Customer Support and Sequence Services Development Delivery and Control for a WIPO BRIDGE Enhancement Project Phase to the WIPO BRIDGE Product Owner for the further enhancement and exploration of sequence services.
The Consultant will support controlled delivery of further exploration and development, including training, mentoring and customer journey coordination; training coordination for test customer groups and other ongoing development activities (ODAs); integrated planning and execution control; workpackage/stakeholder consultations and coordination; CMS/LMS and learning-environment design and management; data collection for user feedback and market research; reporting; risk, issue, change and deliverable control; stakeholder liaison; and material for PRR, DBC and Stage Gate readiness.
The Consultant will deliver timebound work packages through agreed project management and documentation tools. Outputs shall be measurable, accepted by WIPO and will include the following areas:
The Consultant will report to the Product Owner of the WIPO BRIDGE platform. In accordance with PRINCE2 principles, the Consultant reports to the Product Owner as the Executive of the sequence services enhancement and exploration for the platform.

Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
Education: Advanced university degree in law, business administration, education management, international relations or development studies, life sciences, information management or related field.
Desirable: Familiarity with IP, WIPO BRIDGE, The Lens, sequence data, user training, mentoring or related innovation/training ecosystems.
The contract is expected to start as soon as possible and run until March 31, 2027 for a full-time activity rate (100%), with the possibility of extension subject to funding and performance, up to a maximum of two years at 100% activity rate.
The Candidates are requested to submit a financial proposal comprising the following elements:
a) Daily rate in Swiss Francs;
b) Effort allocation: The Candidate shall submit a table indicating the estimated allocation of effort across deliverables, expressed as a percentage of total working time. The total must be equal to 100%.
The maximum contract value will be calculated based on the daily rate multiplied by working days, corresponding to a maximum of 152 full-time working days at 100% activity rate. Payment will be made monthly upon submission and approval of a progress report confirming the status of deliverables for the period, as reviewed and approved by the TKD.
The expected daily rate may be negotiated based on location, qualifications and experience.
ICS contractors fall outside WIPO Staff Regulations and Rules and are not entitled to vacation or sick leave, except WIPO holidays, medical insurance or staff pension. Absences are deducted pro rata.
