What are your tasks:

  • Develop and implement long-term business strategies for the IPL department;
  • Lead and manage the IPL team worldwide: recruit, train, mentor and support team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment;
  • Oversee the financial aspects of IPL, including budgeting, financial planning, and cost control;
  • Manage customer relationships and networking;
  • Develop technical solutions and the commercial part of BID for a client's project;
  • Handle public relations and promotion;
  • Build and maintain a diverse portfolio of carriers specializing in heavy and oversized cargo transportation for global infrastructure projects;
  • Identify and manage risks associated with IPL's operations, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards;
  • Manage team performance, staff allocation, and resource planning to meet project requirements, monitor operational KPIs and adjust strategies for optimal efficiency;

What professional and personal competences are needed?

  • 10+ years of extensive experience in projects and project cargo operations, General and OOG cargo logistics industry, with 5+ years in a managerial position within the logistics or transportation industry in an international multicultural company;
  • Deep understanding of international shipping, supply chain management, customs regulations, and global trade practices;
  • Knowledge of aspects of international logistics and transport;
  • Strong negotiation techniques, presentation skills, networking ability, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization, with the ability to understand and create financial reports;
  • Leadership skills;
  • Customer orientation;
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and transparency;
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset;

Languages: Fluent English, other foreign languages will be an asset.
