VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Construction Project Manager to join our Property team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!

As Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall project execution, ensuring all the KPIs are met, being able to build effective relationships both internally, with the team and the points of contact in the brands, and externally, with architects, construction parties and contractors, vendors in the EMEA region.

We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the role (primary accountabilities):

• Prepare construction documents for accuracy, feasibility and conformance to brand and industry standard.
• Work collaboratively with key colleagues to deliver great store environments through the ongoing optimization of timing and cost efficiency.
• Responsible for overall project management and coordination of the projects assigned: organize, execute, analyse and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Responsible for costing, procurement, distribution, execution and on time installation.
• Build up an efficient and clear reporting towards the stakeholders.
• Ensure that design standards and brand image are maintained.
• Manage the relationship with internal and external departments.
• Ensure all authorization from internal and external departments approvals are collected.
• First point of contact for general contractors and vendors.
• Closely manage, oversee and execute new store buildouts, renovations and closures.
• Oversee the contractors and vendors during execution.
• Site visit to ensure processes and quality.
• Generate and manage project schedules, budgeting, and closely coordinate vendor supply items with a variety of global and local vendors.

Skills For Success

• Minimum 3 years of relevant successful experience in a similar role in a multi-site retail operation building high quality retail stores; experience in apparel is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project), AutoCAD.
• Photoshop, graphic/photo, and MS Project or other Project Management software knowledge a plus.
• Experience in dealing with 3rd party resources (contractors, vendors and external parties).
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

To succeed as Construction Project Manager, you will also contribute to open Store(s) within the given timeline, budget and according to VF standards.

• Be flexible to adapt to site conditions and have the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Work within a team environment and also manage tasks autonomously.
• Possess expertise in Project Management.
• Have a keen interest in Retail Construction.
