We are looking for Consolidation and Reporting Analyst to join us in Geneva, Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities
- Take part in monthly, quarterly and annual closings at entity and consolidated level.
- Coordinating the monthly closing process, from local reporting packages completion to intercompany reconciliation, regional follow ups, preparation of IFRS financial statements and review of monthly consolidated figures:
- Set-up the consolidation system monthly (review of top entries to carry forward, fx rates, opening of the periods, etc.)
- Management of IFRS 16.
- Preparation of the forex and finance costs review.
- Monitor and analyse consolidated figures monthly and prepare specific analysis report: working capital, stock, cash cycle …
- Coordinate and support the intercompany reconciliation process.
- Escalation and explanation of the intercompany differences.
- Review the reporting disclosures monthly and quarterly: taxes, ageing…
- Regular review the full IFRS reporting disclosures.
- Prepare analysis and presentation for the various stakeholders on an ad-hoc basis
- Improve consolidation system and initiate corrective actions.
- Support the design and implementation of accounting policies to be C-SOX compliant.
- Prepare the statutory financial statements under Swiss CO and IFRS for various entities
- Prepare the annual IFRS consolidated financial statements with the notes
- Support Geneva team during annual IFRS audit and statutory audit
Education, Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Accounting, Finance or another relevant field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant finance role – experience in a big 4 is a plus
- Technical knowledge related to both IFRS and consolidation aspects
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and financial applications (HFM and Dynamics 365 would be a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to be flexible, to adapt to challenging deadlines and business demands
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
