As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Your responsibilities

►Develop, create, control and maintain the Product Structure including customization of
options and variants
►Manage the As-Designed structure – control applicability of design to products
►Support the process to change the product structure, verifying the consistency of the proposed changes (including drawings checks) and ensuring the correct distribution of information
►Prepare change request overviews and configuration reports for authorities and/or internal departments
►Conduct change review boards and change implementation boards when necessary
►Interface with production/experimental organization and other departments to support configuration conformity
►Develop, conduct and support internal training in configuration and change management
►Evaluate, propose and prepare continuous improvements of tools, methods and guidelines in the configuration management area

Your qualification & experience

►Degree in Engineering discipline, Aerospace an asset
►Minimum 2 years of experience in Configuration Management; any of the followings:

• Product Configuration/Identification
• Configuration Control
• DMU management
• EBOM management
• Configuration Conformity

►Experience in using PDM and PLM tools, Teamcenter knowledge an asset
►Previous experience in aerospace engineering and knowledge of EASA Part 21 would be a strong asset
►Knowledge of CAD tools, Siemens NX an asset
►Experience in Product Change Process an asset
►Willing to learn, challenge and improve methods and best practices
►Flexible, ability to adapt to working methods while ensuring correct configuration data
►Ability to deliver high quality work even under time pressure
►Fluent in English (minimum B2, verbal & written)
