Aufgaben

• Entwicklung neuer Designkonzepte im Bereich Composite Structural Design.
• Vorbereitung von 3D-Modellen, 2D-Zeichnungen und Stücklisten mit NX und Teamcenter.

We are currently looking for a Composite Design Engineer (m/w/d) in the region of Luzern, for one of our clients in the Global Aviation industry.

Tasks:

1. Development of new design concepts in the field of Composite Structural Design
2. Perform design work in the area of Composite structural and non-structural parts for future aircraft programmes
3. Perform and lead all related activities with regard to Design Changes on Composite parts in serial production
4. Autonomous leadership from minor to major design projects and sub-projects
5. Preparation of 3D models, 2D drawings, Bill of Materials with NX and Teamcenter
6. Preparation of all Fibersim data associated with the composite design work performed

Profile:

1. Higher technical education in the field of Structural Design
2. Minimum 5 years' of experience in the field of Composite Design in the aviation industry
3. Excellent knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting within Unigraphics NX, and proficiency in the use of Fibersim
4. Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken), good knowledge of German is a plus
5. Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
6. Ability to perceive and think according to a "big picture"-approach, and to act and communicate appropriately at all department levels/interfaces
