Zusammenfassung

grape is seeking a Compliance Officer to own the Swiss and Liechtenstein compliance framework within a fast-growing insurtech scale-up. You will balance regulatory rigor with business pragmatism and serve as a trusted advisor while building a scalable compliance infrastructure.

With 4+ years in compliance, you’ll manage data protection, sanctions, third-party oversight, anti-bribery, and fraud controls under CH/LI regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Degree in law, business law or certificate in Compliance.
• Experience: 4+ years in Compliance within Swiss/Liechtenstein indemnity insurance (ideally lines sickness and accident).
• Domain expertise: Proven track record managing core compliance risks under CH/LI regulatory frameworks.
• Insurance knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Swiss and Liechtenstein insurance regulatory framework.
• Tech-savvy mindset: Passion for automation, tooling, and scalable processes.
• Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business advice; German is a strong asset.
• Work style: Precise, reliable, and composed under pressure; collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Risk management: Own and maintain grape's compliance risk universe across data protection, economic sanctions, third-party oversight, anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, and fraud prevention
• Tooling: Own grape's compliance tooling, driving automation and process improvements to build a scalable compliance function.
• Policies & documentation: Develop and update internal compliance policies, procedures, and clear process documentation.
• Monitoring & audits: Maintain grape's compliance monitoring plan, conduct internal reviews, and lead preparation for external audits and regulatory assessments.
• Regulatory monitoring: Track legal and regulatory developments across CH/LI with a focus on licensed activities and products, advise management on required adjustments.
• Training: Design and deliver internal compliance training programs.
