Zusammenfassung

Swissquote is seeking a Compliance Monitoring Associate-Director to lead the Monitoring team, oversee AML reviews of crypto and traditional transfers, and drive policy enhancements. The role requires executive-level guidance to senior management and collaboration across a multicultural, tech-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in a related field, 5–7 years in compliance, and fluency in English and French (German a plus).

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, including task coordination, performance management, and professional development of team members.
• Oversee compliance and AML reviews of crypto currency transfers, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions.
• Oversee compliance and AML reviews of cash, securities and crypto currency transfers made by Financial Institutions, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions.
• Supervise the handling of sanctions alerts, providing escalation and final validation as needed.
• Supervise the investigation on potentially suspicious clients.
• Drive the optimization of internal procedures, including drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and guidelines.
• Represent Compliance in key regulatory and strategic projects, ensuring the monitoring function is embedded in business initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and front-line teams, offering clear and pragmatic compliance guidance.

• Leading and supporting the Monitoring team:
  • Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization;

  • Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner;
  • Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
• Hiring:
  • Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner;
  • Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
• Performance Management:Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
• Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.
