Zusammenfassung

Roche in Basel seeks a Clinical Scientist - Late Stage Development in Ophthalmology to support cross-functional molecule and study teams, executing clinical strategies and Phase 2-3 trials to deliver medically differentiated therapies for patients.

You will work with experienced Clinical Scientists and Medical Directors to contribute to study documentation, safety data reviews, and regulatory submissions, while assisting in abstracts and presentations for scientific events.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; an advanced degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, Master’s in Life Sciences or Public Health) is strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of global clinical trial execution, including GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and regulatory frameworks (ICH, FDA, EMA)
  • Broad foundational knowledge of multidisciplinary functions involved in drug development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex clinical information clearly
  • Collaborative mindset with demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within dynamic team settings

Aufgaben

  • Contribute to the preparation and writing of Clinical Development Plans (CDPs), protocols, informed consent forms (ICFs), and Case Report Forms (CRFs)
  • Conduct ongoing medical and safety data reviews to ensure accurate data interpretation and support study reporting
  • Support clinical trial application (CTA) submissions, briefing packs, and written responses to Health Authority inquiries
  • Collaborate with study site personnel to optimize trial conduct and resolve clinical queries effectively
  • Present study updates and clinical science insights at internal cross-functional meetings, investigator meetings, and scientific events
  • Assist in drafting abstracts, posters, and presentation materials for external scientific conferences

The Opportunity
