Client Lifecycle Management Governance Analyst

The Client Lifecycle Management Governance Analyst is responsible for supporting governance for client-related processes at HSBC Private Bank in Switzerland (PBRS). This role offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial part in managing risks associated with the client lifecycle, from onboarding approval coordination to follow-up on potential bank exit decisions.

What you will do:

The Client Selection and Exit Management Analyst assists the head of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Governance in coordinating key stakeholders' governance responsibilities. She/he ensures that all risks related to client onboarding and lifecycle are properly managed. She/he also supports the Secretariat of the Due Diligence Committee (DDC) and the Reputational Risk Client Selection Committee (RRCSC) in ensuring timely implementation of decisions.

  • Ensure full alignment with Group Private Bank (GPB) policies and procedures, maintaining updated Desk Instruction Manuals, Compliance Monitoring Plans, and managing variances/deviations.
  • Maintain adherence to the GPB Risk and Controls model, delivering sustainable control indicators through timely reporting of Management Information (MI) and Key Performance and Risk Indicators (KPIs/KRIs).
  • Collaborate across locations and Lines of Business, participate in Working Groups.
  • Support the Secretariat of key Risk Committees (RRCSC & DDC) by ensuring quality of submitted materials, coordinating activities, drafting minutes, and following up on open actions.
  • Maintain high standards in the Client Selection and Exit Management Process, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Improve quality and leverage CLM & Front Office knowledge in materials submitted to RRCSC & DDC, ensuring standards are respected.
  • Develop synergies and streamline activities between Committees and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Interpersonal skills, resilience, ability to work under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of Private Banking processes.
  • Ability to motivate and achieve high performance.
  • Proven change management, leadership, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, adaptable to new tools, experienced with MS Office suite.
  • International experience and multicultural exposure are a plus.
  • Flexible, accountable, dependable, collaborative, and respectful.
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU citizen, or valid Swiss work permit).
