Job summary

Ikerian AG is seeking a CISO / Head of IT Security to define security strategy and manage global IT security operations. You will bridge technical controls with strategic business needs and drive privacy initiatives across healthcare software platforms.

The ideal candidate has extensive information security leadership experience, cloud security expertise (AWS), and certifications such as CISSP/CISM. Global team leadership and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a similar security leadership role.
• University degree in CS, InfoSec or related field; certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or finance sectors is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive company-wide information security strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee IT infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Lead compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR.
• Manage risk assessments, vulnerability testing and incident response.
• Supervise procurement/management of hardware/software for distributed workforce.
• Promote security awareness through training and policy development.
