A CISO or Head of IT Security at a health data software company typically needs a track record of running security programs end to end: risk assessment, policy, incident response and audit readiness. A strong candidate brings hands on knowledge of protecting sensitive clinical and research data, cloud and product security, and the ability to work with engineering teams so security fits how software is built. Familiarity with health sector rules and standards matters, since the platform handles eye health data for clinics, research and pharmaceutical work.
