Ikerian AG is seeking a CISO / Head of IT Security to lead the security strategy and internal IT operations for a growing medical device software company. This leadership role focuses on safeguarding digital assets and ensuring data privacy while aligning security with business goals.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in security leadership, a university degree in a related field, and certifications such as CISSP or CISM.

Qualificações

• 8 years of experience in a similar position (Finance sector start search).
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; professional certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• Significant experience in information security and IT leadership, ideally within the healthcare or finance industry.
• Expertise in cloud security architecture (AWS) and modern infrastructure tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and data privacy initiatives.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement the company-wide information security strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across all systems.
• Lead compliance efforts for relevant standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Manage risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response protocols.
• Supervise the procurement and management of hardware/software for a distributed workforce.
• Foster a culture of security awareness through continuous training and policy development.
