About the Position
ICPS is seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Financial Officer to spearhead our Financial Operations and Strategic Financial Planning departments and advance the growth and sustainability of our diverse programs and initiatives. As the CFO, you will be responsible for designing and executing financial strategies that support ICPS’s mission to promote international peace and security, foster a culture of accountability and excellence, and align financial operations with the strategic objectives of ICPS. You will have oversight of financial planning, risk management, compliance with Swiss financial regulations, and the development of innovative funding strategies, with direct line management responsibility for two senior financial managers, each overseeing a specialised sub-department. You will lead strategic planning meetings with these managers to establish high-quality, effective financial policies, provide mentorship, and enhance financial reporting and forecasting frameworks to ensure they meet the highest standards of professionalism and impact. This role will also involve collaborating closely with the Chancellor and executive team members to integrate financial strategies with organisational goals. Additionally, you will prepare detailed financial reports for the executive team and board members, ensuring transparency and clear communication of all financial activities and solutions. Your expertise in financial management, particularly within a non-profit setting, will be critical in navigating the complexities of funding and regulatory compliance, driving ICPS towards sustainable growth, and expanding our impact in international peace and security.
