Job summary

The Global Fund seeks a senior leader to head Data, Analytics and Learning in a defined-duration role until December 2029. You will drive multidisciplinary analytics, data management, modelling and evidence generation across the investment lifecycle, ensuring timely, credible evidence informs funding decisions and performance reporting.

You will lead a team spanning statistics, data engineering and learning functions, aligning data strategy with programmatic needs and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary analytical and evidence functions.
• Development and use of indicators and performance frameworks to assess organizational/portfolio performance.
• Advising senior leadership and governance bodies on complex evidence issues.
• Knowledge of global health and multilateral partnership models.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational evidence, analytics and learning to strengthen decision-making.
• Oversee allocation and modelling capabilities for resource decisions and investments.
• Set strategic direction for measurement architecture and reporting.
• Manage data and analytics across the investment lifecycle for cross-portfolio insights.
• Provide leadership for strategic performance reporting and major organizational reports.
• Oversee Evaluation & Learning function and ensure methodological rigor and evidence uptake.
• Develop organizational capability and promote digital, data and AI literacy across the division.
