Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Measurement & Reference Equipment Specialist at the Schaffhausen site to manage calibration equipment lifecycle and ensure GMP-compliant documentation. You will coordinate calibration activities, maintain master data in SAP PM, and act as technical contact across Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality.

The role requires a technical degree, strong metrology knowledge, and fluency in German and English to collaborate with internal and external service

Qualifications

• Technical vocational education or university degree in Engineering or Metrology.
• Experience with measurement equipment, calibration, or maintenance in a regulated environment.
• Good GMP documentation practices; German and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage measurement, reference, and calibration equipment lifecycle.
• Maintain calibration master data in SAP PM and related systems.
• Coordinate planned calibration activities and monitor due dates.
• Ensure calibration status is valid and equipment is fit for use.
• Coordinate internal and external calibration activities and providers.
• Review calibration certificates and documentation.
• Handle Out-of-Tolerance cases, deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Ensure GMP/compliance with calibration strategies.
• Develop calibration plans, intervals, and maintenance strategies.
• Provide status updates and KPI transparency.
• Act as technical contact for metrology topics.
