Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
Programming complex components using CAM software like hyperMILL or 3dX
Run-in and supervise complex milled components, make and optimise changes
Work on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain TNC640
Load and prioritise prototype/one-off and small series parts using the latest robot technology
Be responsible for the accuracy of the parts and the entire process, from ordering materials to checking the workpieces
Work in a 2-shift operation
Occasional weekend work
Your profile
Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ
Several years of experience with 5-axis machines
Several years of CAM experience / hyperMILL, CATIA V5, 3dX (an advantage)
Good knowledge of the Heidenhain control system (an advantage)
Enjoy working with high-tech materials
Used to working carefully and independently
A team player and very flexible
Willing to work outside normal working hours
Willing to work on a time-shifted basis
Experience in a Formula 1 environment
Proficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
