Job Description

Your mission:

• You will provide all aspects of Business Objects development and support to the users.
• You are responsible for report creation/modifications and universe creation/modifications with understanding of the business needs.
• You are adaptable and willing to work occasional weekends or bank holidays for system changes/testing outside of normal working hours.

About The Customer

Swisslinx, as the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, is looking for a seasoned Business Objects Consultant (w/m/d) in Basel.

Your Team

You will work closely with the Tableau team and the Big Data team. The work is largely autonomous.

• Start date: ASAP, latest 01.08.2025
• End date: 31.03.2026
• Work location: Basel
• Workload: 100%
• Hybrid: 50% onsite, 50% home office within Switzerland
• On Call: depending on need, occasional weekend work or work on public holidays may be required.

Requirements

Your Profile:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Business Objects.
• Detailed knowledge of Business Objects version 4.3.
• Experience supporting non-technical users of Business Objects.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL.
• Great communication skills with a proactive approach.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Business Objects version BI2025 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Infoburst is a plus.
• Knowledge of 360suite is a plus.
