Our client is an international semiconductor company supplying innovative solutions to customers across several high-growth markets. As part of its continued European expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop new opportunities and strengthen its position within the industrial sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a strong technical background and experience working across sales, engineering, marketing and product teams.
Reporting to the European sales organisation, you will take ownership of business-development activity across the European industrial market. You will work closely with customers, regional sales teams, application engineers, distribution partners and internal product specialists to identify opportunities, understand market requirements and support sustainable revenue growth.
The role combines strategic market development with hands-on customer engagement. You will be expected to travel regularly across Europe, building relationships with key accounts and regional customers while developing a strong understanding of industrial applications and customer priorities.
You will develop and support strategies to grow the company’s industrial business across Europe, working closely with sales and application engineering colleagues to improve customer engagement and opportunity development. This will include preparing market and product presentations, supporting customer meetings, helping field teams understand application requirements, and ensuring they have the information and tools needed to progress opportunities. You will collaborate with internal product and technical teams to communicate market feedback, prioritise customer requirements and influence future product and solution development. In addition, you will monitor industry trends and competitor activity, support product launches and marketing initiatives, contribute to trade shows, and help train distribution partners. Regular face-to-face interaction with customers will be central to the role, including discussions around product definition, technical roadmaps, application needs and long-term relationship development.
