Job Description

As a Brand Manager in AbbVie's Neurology Team, you will enhance the patient and HCP experience by working closely with the IFT, acting as the Brand Team channel expert to guide campaign development and insight gathering across all stakeholder groups.

  1. Lead development & propose marketing inputs to the brand plan with a patient-centric focus.
  2. Lead the tactical design and implementation of marketing initiatives, including:
  3. Innovative tactics to deliver holistic solutions,
  4. Multi-channel opportunities to strengthen campaigns,
  5. Multi-stakeholder initiatives,
  6. Interactive and customized content for CLM,
  7. Ensure a brand story is defined and consistently used/referenced by the brand and in-field teams.
  8. Bring the brand story to life through marketing materials and campaigns.
  9. Coordinate market research and insights collection to inform the patient journey.
  10. Synthesize insights to form a marketing perspective on brand issues, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
  11. Provide input to forecasting and KPI monitoring; support budget planning and tracking for marketing activities.
  12. Lead efforts to strengthen brand insights through digital listening and new channel research.
  13. Optimize channel mix for marketing and cross-functional campaigns; advise on the best use of channels.
  14. Manage the CLM process and oversee its implementation with the IFT.
  15. Develop segment profiles and drive the creation of customized materials for each target segment.
  16. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer perspectives through regular stakeholder engagement.
  17. Leverage strong analytical skills.
  18. Identify potential non-traditional partners to meet strategic objectives, assess, and manage collaborations.
  19. Participate actively as a member of the brand team.
  20. Share best practices locally and globally.
  21. Operate within all relevant division, business, and regulatory guidelines, including ethics and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

  • University degree in marketing, economics, or a relevant discipline.
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Relevant marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in other industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of the healthcare environment, market, and therapy area issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry policies, procedures, and financial processes.
  • Ability to develop patient-centric strategic plans and tailor messages effectively.
  • High customer focus and ability to manage projects successfully.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and leverage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills for complex issues.
