Job summary

Beau Soleil, part of Nord Anglia Education, seeks a caring Boarding Assistant to join our international community in Villars-sur-Ollon. You will work closely with the HM and DHM to support students in daily boarding life, including activities, study supervision and health-centre coordination.

The role emphasizes a warm, proactive presence, teamwork and a strong commitment to student welfare. 10-month contract with accommodation and seasonal ski pass included.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level.
• Experience with young people in residential settings is helpful but not essential.
• English native speaker or very high English proficiency; French knowledge is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with the HM and DHM to ensure the successful running of the house and provide the best care for students.
• Get to know the students and support them as individuals.
• Be an active, positive presence in the house during the day and evening, including cooking, baking and planning house activities.
• Assist with house administration as required.
• Be extensively involved in the weekend programme.
• Provide 6-8 lessons per week of support in lessons.
• Support two activities or sports teams across the year.
• Overnight supervision in the Boarding House.
• Help at La Sionnaire during the Winter season (ski chalet).
• supervise study sessions.
• Work with the Health Centre team to provide support and take students to appointments.
• Provide airport transfers.
• Attend weekly Training and Support Meetings.
• Any other duties as required by the School.
