Haut-Lac International Bilingual School, perched above Lake Geneva, seeks a proactive Boarding Intern to help run the boarding house and support student wellbeing from now or January 2027 until July 2027. You will work with the Houseparent team to ensure a safe, warm and engaging home away from home.

Qualifications

• Recent university graduate who enjoys working with young people.
• Responsible, diligent, adaptable and hard‑working with good common sense.
• Full, clean driving licence (category B) required.
• Fluent English; good French is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Houseparents with the daily routine of the boarding house: mornings, evenings, study time and bedtimes.
• Caring for students’ wellbeing and safety, and being a positive role model.
• Assisting with boarding activities and outings on weekends and evenings.
• Accompanying school trips (around 10 days over the year).
• Taking part in the Haut‑Lac summer camp in July, included in the contract.
• Driving students to activities and appointments when needed.
• Helping out around the campus and in the school during the day as needed.
