Haut-Lac école internationale bilingue in Switzerland seeks an experienced Junior House Parent to join a warm, family-style boarding house. You will assist Senior Houseparents, help with meals, oversee after-school routines, and support student wellbeing, safeguarding, and daily care.
Requirements include 2–3 years of boarding experience, fluent French and/or English, a full driving licence, and flexibility for evenings and weekends. Accommodation is provided.
Our boarding house overlooks Lake Geneva, surrounded by countryside, and we are looking for an experienced Junior Houseparent to join a warm, close-knit team and help make it a true home away from home for our boarders.
The house opened its doors in August 2022. It is spacious, well equipped and a short walk from the main school campuses, with good rail links to Vevey, Montreux, Lausanne and Geneva. The atmosphere is familial: every boarder is known, valued and made to feel at home, and our motto, 'Live, Learn, Achieve', is part of everything we do.
You will support the Senior Houseparents in the daily life of the house, building on your boarding or pastoral experience.
This position is open to EU/EFTA nationals and to candidates who already hold a valid Swiss work permit. Unfortunately, we are not able to apply for work permits on behalf of non-EU/EFTA candidates.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial discussion, most likely by video call.
In line with our child and youth safeguarding policy, Haut-Lac carries out the required background and reference checks before anyone takes up a post.
