Adaptyv in Lausanne is building an automated biology lab where AI-driven systems manage procurement for gene synthesis, reagents, and consumables. You will own sourcing end-to-end, negotiate with suppliers, and push to lower costs while ensuring timely deliveries to accelerate experiments.

The role scales with growth, setting inventory policy, qualifying suppliers, and collaborating with science and finance to protect margins as the lab expands.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in supply chain or procurement in a physical/technical business.
• Margins-focused and cost-saving mindset.
• Technical ability to talk to scientists and evaluate reagents and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation skills with vendors and the ability to walk away when needed.
• Automation mindset; comfortable with scripting and systems integrations.
• Swiss or EU import/export experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own procurement end to end for lab inputs and consumables.
• De-risk the supply chain by qualifying second sources and managing lead times.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and drive down costs to improve gross margins.
• Plan inventory and set reorder points to avoid stockouts and expiry losses.
• Work with Finance to align procurement with COGS and budgets.
• Automate ordering, tracking, and reconciliation across systems.
