Adaptyv is building an automated lab enabling AI-driven biology experiments. You will lead procurement and supply chain for a rapidly expanding lab, sourcing reagents, consumables, and equipment, while ensuring cost control and reliability.

The role requires hands-on sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration with science teams. You will shape inventory policies, lead times, and landed costs as the lab scales, and you will work to secure second sources and implement

Qualifikationen

• Experience in supply chain or procurement in a physical, technical business such as biotech, CROs, or life sciences.
• Ability to reason in margins; saving costs across high volumes.
• Technical enough to discuss with scientists and qualify reagents and suppliers.

Aufgaben

• Own procurement end to end for lab inputs including gene synthesis materials, reagents, and consumables.
• De-risk the supply chain by qualifying second sources and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure pricing, volume commitments, and favorable terms.
• Drive cost reductions per protein and across volumes to improve gross margin.
• Plan inventory and land costs, including landed cost, import/cold chain considerations.
