Job summary

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. This hybrid sales and customer success role places you as the primary contact for customers, translating complex protein design goals into practical experiments.

You will guide onboarding, design first experiments, monitor accounts, and identify expansion opportunities while collaborating with the biology team to ensure success.

Qualifications

• PhD-level science background in protein engineering or related field.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles.
• Commercially driven with focus on revenue and pipeline.
• Able to discuss binding kinetics and assay design.

Responsibilities

• Own the full customer lifecycle from prospecting to onboarding and ongoing account management.
• Serve as technical POC for customers, recommending experiments (binding, expression, thermostability, enzyme activity).
• Explain assay capabilities in depth and determine appropriate usage.
• Collaborate with biology team to ensure experiments are designed correctly and results communicated clearly.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities across segments (AI-driven design, biotech startups, pharma, academia).
