Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science field or Bachelor’s holder with pharma production experience.
• Knowledge of USP (bioreactors) or DSP (chromatography) units.
• Several years of biomanufacturing experience.
• GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology.
• Excellent English communication; German language skills are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Ensure operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within safety and quality standards.
• Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area.
• Lead of defined USP areas (seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for production of therapeutic proteins with mammalian or microbial expressions systems (Bioprocess Engineer USP).
• In charge of defined DSP areas (gain, polishing or filling) for purification of therapeutic proteins from mammalian or microbial systems (Bioprocess Engineer DSP).
