Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Switzerland seeks a Team Lead Product Engineering BiMOS to guide a team of engineers and technicians, drive technical excellence, and ensure seamless product ownership from design to high-volume manufacturing.

You will collaborate with R&D, operations, quality, and product management, lead continuous improvement, and shape the industrialization and tech transfer of new BiMOS technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, process engineering, or quality engineering.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to address performance gaps through coaching, feedback and development plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive accountability and support employees in reaching their full potential through clear expectations, regular feedback, and professional development.
• Lead yield improvement, quality enhancement, and cost optimization activities.
• Ensure end-to-end product ownership covering quality, reliability, manufacturability, and product performance.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Management.
• Support industrialization and transfer of new technologies and products into high-volume manufacturing.
• Prioritize resources, remove obstacles, and ensure effective execution of strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
