Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Switzerland is seeking a Team Lead Product Engineering BiMOS to lead a team of engineers and drive technical excellence in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will own product quality, reliability, and manufacturability while coordinating with R&D, operations, and supply chain. The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field, several years in semiconductor manufacturing, strong leadership, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, process engineering, or quality engineering.
• Proven leadership with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Fluent German and English are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive accountability and support employees in reaching their full potential through clear expectations, regular feedback, and professional development.
• Lead yield improvement, quality enhancement, and cost optimization activities.
• Ensure end-to-end product ownership covering quality, reliability, manufacturability, and product performance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Management.
• Support industrialization and transfer of new technologies and products into high-volume manufacturing.
• Prioritize resources, remove obstacles, and ensure effective execution of strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
