What you achieve

You will improve customer experience by building a real-time data product based on customer activities.
Our data product enables Swisscom to gain insights about the customer journey, a cross channel collection of customer activities
and allows other teams within Swisscom to answer questions like:

• How to improve customer experience and Swisscom processes?
• What are the patterns bringing to a purchase or successful support case?
• Is online channel attracting more customers?

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain distributed data streaming applications using open-source technologies on our existing big data platform
• Play an important role in the migration of our product to AWS and its subsequent maintenance and operations
• Design scalable architectures, identify and implement new product ideas
• As part of an agile team, evaluate emerging technologies and actively share your expertise to drive continuous improvement.

Your skills:

• Strong understanding of distributed systems with experience in using big data technologies such as Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and Apache Cassandra for processing and analyzing large data sets.
• Solid knowledge in utilizing AWS services and Kubernetes for container orchestration and efficiently scaling applications in a cloud environment.
• Proficient programming skills in JVM-based languages, particularly Scala, for developing powerful and efficient software solutions.
• Quick comprehension, proactive personality, and good organizational skills.
• Excellent English language skills required; German language skills are a plus.
