Optravis LLC in Basel is seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Security Engineer to own cloud infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance. This is a hands-on role: you will lead the technical decisions and carry out the implementation and ongoing operational work.

You will collaborate closely with our software development teams to understand their requirements and deliver scalable, cost-efficient solutions, and you will support security and compliance tasks to ensure alignment with

Qualifikationen

• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent education.
• Experience building and operating production infrastructure incl. networking, identity management, storage, monitoring and containers.
• Practical infrastructure-as-code experience; Bicep; Terraform welcome.
• Ability to write and maintain code/scripts using Git, reviews and testing.
• Excellent English communication; other languages a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own defined portfolio of products and internal systems (e.g., Azure main subscription).
• Improve operational lifecycle of assets including maintenance and recovery exercises.
• Design, build and maintain infrastructure components that are clean and compliant.
• Apply least privilege, secure configuration, and robust auditing.
• Implement and operate technical controls and evidence for ISMS.
• Contribute to Operational Plan of the ISMS.
• Support internal IT tasks and productivity tools.
• Explore new technologies and present viable options.
